HANDBELL GUILDS of CANADA

Formed in 1985, the Guild exists to promote Handbell Ringing inOntario. The Guild's objectives are to bring handbell ringers in contact with each other for the purpose of exchanging ideas, to assist newly-formed choirs, to provide a forum for discussion, and the practical advancement of the Art of Handbell Ringing. The Guild currently has 157 choirs representing 1596 ringers.

Ontario Ringers Reach the Pinnacle!

Not just one, but TWO of Ontario (and Canada's)finest ringers have been chosen to perform at the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers'

Pinnacle event in Nashville, TN in July 2010. Handbell soloistsSusan Carscadden-Mifsud, from Ingersoll, and heather keith, from Ajax,

will be performing in Nashville on Monday, July19th.Two other soloists, Nancy Hascall and Michael Lamb,will be sharing the stage for this concert.

Susan and heather were required to prepare and submit audition packages to be considered for this performance opportunity.
